WEEK 4

As of now, I can not really make any general conclusions about my subculture. i do feel as though the subculture that I have been observing is specific to the community that the subculture is apart of. I do not feel as though it would be the same entirely if it was in a different community. This is because if the All-Girl Ball State cheerleaders were not apart of the Ball State, then they would not be the same group of cheerleaders. You can't be the Ball State Cheerleaders without being a part of the university.

Also, where Ball State University is located in the United States may have an impact on what I observe. This is because in the north part of the United States, cheerleading is less intense than it is in southern states such as Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky.
